Oakley was founded in 1975 by Jim Jannard and based in Southern California where Jannard sold products out of his car at local motocross events. Oakley went on to produce multiple bmx and motocross products,  that would gain the company popularity. Today, Oakley is the leading manufacturer of sunglasses and goggles, and offers the most technologically advanced eye wear in action sports!
